Meeting of the UB RAS Presidium

           On January 25, the meeting of the Presidium of the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences was held, at which the director of the Institute of High-Temperature Electrochemistry M.V. Ananyev made a report on features of isotopic methods for studying of the kinetics of the interaction of oxides with gas phase components (oxygen, hydrogen, water, hydrocarbons, etc.) in the solid state electrochemistry. The use of isotopic methods will allow us to approach a deep understanding of the mechanism of processes occurring in electrochemical devices, which will make it possible to purposefully improve the properties of functional materials and the performance of electrochemical devices.
           Representatives of the institutes of the Urals Branch highly appreciated the scientific level of the report, noting the fundamental and applied perspectives of isotope research methods, and wished Maxim Vasil’evich further success in the scientific field.
